Singers from “The Voice” to Lead Harbor House Rocks April 21

Fundraiser supports Harbor House, a home-away-from-home for families

Nick Hagelin and Bryan Bautista, singers who competed on “The Voice,” and local musicians will come together Friday, April 21, to support , a home-away-from-home for families of patients undergoing organ transplantation or trauma care at UR Medicine’s Strong Memorial Hospital.

Harbor House Rocks will include performances by the Season 10 contestants, as well as Tom Arcara and The Jeff Acker Trio.

Arcara is a heart transplant recipient and a founding member of the Harbor House Board of Directors. Acker is performing in honor of his father, who also received a heart transplant.

“This will be an incredible night of music to support a home that serves as a foundation, a rock if you will, for families helping their loved ones through a health crisis,” said Rob Kochik, Harbor House president.

opened in 2009 to provide temporary lodging for out-of-town families of adults in need of critical care at Strong Memorial. For spouses of patients, it is a peaceful environment that allows them to re-energize to support their loved one’s healing.
