UR Medicine has acquired Genesee Vascular Lab expanding its Heart and Vascular expertise, care and locations.

Vascular surgeon Thomas E. Penn, M.D., who formed the practice in 1977, will continue to provide non-invasive vascular diagnostic testing at its Brighton and Penfield locations.

Genesee Vascular was the first practice in the Finger Lakes region to hold the . Its offices are located at Clinton Crossings, 919 Westfall Road, Building B in Brighton, and at 2060 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, near the intersection of Routes 250 and 441 in Penfield.

Surgeons work in partnership with cardiologists, serving as the region鈥檚 largest comprehensive heart and vascular team.
