The Science of Neuro-Glia Interaction

Welcome to the Science of Neuro-Glia Interaction Lab

My research program focuses on neuroglia interactions. Specifically, my lab studies how neuromodulators mediate the unique interactions between neurons, astrocytes, and microglia in healthy brains and how disruptions in neuronal-glial crosstalk contribute to ADHD, epilepsy, and insulin resistance. My research program is supported by the NIH, NSF, and DOD.
